I saw you guys operating on 3/27/2013 on a chimney fire in Farmville. Looked like a good operation when I went by. Looked like y'all had a good knockdown, everyone was in PPE and I was impressed with what I saw! My son statrs Longwood in the fall so I hope to see more of you guys in the future. Keep up the good work and be safe.

The new website is very impressive. I am glad to see HSVFD doing so well. Browsing the site certainly brings back memories of great friends, comraderie, and service. Recalling my time at HSVFD ('92-'96) makes it seem like an eternity ago, but it sparked a desire for the fire service that remains to this day. If you are ever in Charlotte, NC stop by Engine 16 "B" shift and say hello; I would enjoy seeing another HSVFD brother.
