Trailer Fire Returns 5 Companies to Company 2

Shortly after the fire on Farmville Road, Company 2; Hampden-Sydney Fire, Company 6; Darlington Heights Fire, and Company 1; Farmville Fire were dispatched to 357 Farmview Road for a report of a trailer fire. Soon after dispatch, Darlington Heights 630(R. Adams) notified dispatch that he was on scene, and reported heavy smoke coming from the underside of the trailer. Tanker 2-6 was the first unit on scene, and Farmview Command was established by 201(Chief R. Draper). With only 3 members on scene, he requested Company 5 for manpower. Arriving a few minutes later, Engine 2-1 marked on scene, and Command was transfered to 202( Asst. Chief R. Crawley). Company 4, Prospect Fire provided standby at Company 2. After a brief fire suppression effort, the source of the fire was found under the trailer. The fire was extinguished without any damage to the living area of the trailer. Command marked the scene under control, and all units returned to service at 8:00pm. Thanks to Company 1, Company 4, Company 5, and Company 6 for their efforts.
