Richmond 9/11 Memorial Stair Climb
Sun. Sep 11th 2011

The Past and the Present came together today in Richmond, VA as current and former members of H-SVFD met up for the Richmond 9/11 memorial stair climb. The group climbed the Suntrust building in downtown Richmond, VA to honor the 343 fallen FDNY firefighters on 9/11. In full gear and carrying the name tag of a fallen FDNY firefighter, they ascended the building's stairwell 5 times, for a total for 110 stories, symbolically completing the climb started by those heroes on that tragic day.
